Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using LMCP ("the Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Software.

2. Service Description

LMCP is a macOS application that connects AI assistants (Claude Desktop, ChatGPT, Cursor, Windsurf, VS Code, and compatible MCP clients) to your local Mac applications including Mail, Calendar, Contacts, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, and Microsoft Office documents. The Software runs entirely on your machine. No personal app data is transmitted to our servers.

3. License

The Software is free for the first 500 installs. These licenses are permanent and never expire.

License: Use of the Software is granted for personal and professional use on a single Mac. The license is non-transferable.

You may not:

• Redistribute, sublicense, rent, lease, or sell the Software
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels
• Use the Software for any unlawful purpose
• Use the Software to develop a competing product

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Software only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with applicable laws and regulations. You are responsible for all activities that occur through your installation of the Software.

You may not use the Software to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:

• Automating access to third-party services in violation of their terms of service
• Using the Software to process data you are not authorized to access
• Attempting to circumvent the license validation system
• Using the Software in any manner that could damage, disable, or impair our services

5. Pricing

LMCP is free for the first 500 installs. After reaching this limit, a paid plan will be introduced with advance notice. Early adopters keep their free license permanently.

6. Privacy

Your use of the Software is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy at local-mcp.com/privacy.

7. Updates

We may release updates, patches, or new versions of the Software. During the license period, updates are provided at no additional charge. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice. The Software may check for updates automatically.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SOFTWARE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS. YOUR USE OF THE SOFTWARE IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL COLIBIRD, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SOFTWARE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SOFTWARE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your license immediately, without prior notice or liability, if you breach any provision of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Software ceases immediately. You may terminate your license at any time by uninstalling the Software and ceasing all use.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Delaware, United States.
