What teams do with LMCP

Each case below is the steps an AI assistant does in place of the person, and the LMCP tools it calls. All of them work on Mac and on Windows.

Morning brief from Microsoft 365 mail and calendar

  1. Lists the new messages in the inbox and opens the ones that need an answer.
  2. Lists today’s meetings.
  3. Writes one summary: what needs a reply and what is on the calendar.

Tools: m365_list_emails, m365_read_email, m365_list_events

Follow-up in Teams

  1. Lists the recent chats and reads the thread you name.
  2. Drafts the reply with what was agreed.
  3. Sends it only after you confirm the preview.

Tools: teams_list_chats, teams_read_chat_messages, teams_send_message

Prepare a meeting with OneDrive files

  1. Finds the meeting on the calendar.
  2. Searches OneDrive for the documents it refers to and reads them.
  3. Writes a brief with the open points.

Tools: m365_list_events, onedrive_search_files, onedrive_read_file

ServiceNow incidents

  1. Lists the incidents assigned to you.
  2. Opens one and summarizes its history.
  3. Adds a comment to it after you confirm the preview.

Tools: servicenow_list_my_incidents, servicenow_get_incident, servicenow_add_comment

Email drafts, sent only when you confirm

  1. Writes the email as a draft in Outlook.
  2. You review it there, or ask for the send: LMCP shows a preview and sends only on a second confirmation.

Tools: m365_create_draft, m365_send_email

IT decides which of these tools exist on each computer (security overview).
