m365_save_attachment
Microsoft 365 · Windows
Effect: write (strongest supported action). Status: gated.
Gated means the tool requires an installed app, a connected account, permission, or runtime availability. Check those requirements on the listed platform before using it.
Windows
Purpose
Saves the attachments of a Microsoft 365 email to a folder: all of them, or one by attachment_id (the ids m365_read_email lists). An attachment that replaces a file of the same name: LMCP keeps a copy of that file first (in its backups folder) and the answer says where. An attached Outlook item or a link to a cloud file is not a file: it is not saved, and the answer says so. For classic Outlook, use outlook_save_attachment.
Required inputs
id— The email message ID from m365_list_emails, m365_search_emails or m365_read_emailpath— Folder to save the attachments to

- Use only the apps, accounts and resources authorized by the user on this platform. Consult this tool's platform-specific description for its connection and permission requirements; this catalog does not assert additional OAuth scopes or OS entitlements.
