proton_search_emails

Proton Mail · macOS · Windows

Effect: read (strongest supported action). Status: gated.

Gated means the tool requires an installed app, a connected account, permission, or runtime availability. Check those requirements on the listed platform before using it.

macOS

Purpose

Searches one folder of a Proton Mail account for `query` in the messages' headers and text, newest first. `folder` defaults to INBOX; "All Mail" searches every message. `since` and `until` narrow it to a period of days. The search is run by Proton Mail Bridge on this computer. Nothing is marked as read. Read from Proton Mail Bridge on this computer; it requires a Proton plan that includes Bridge, with Bridge running.

Required inputs

Permissions and confirmation

No explicit confirmation parameter is exposed in this snapshot. This does not grant permission to act: obtain user authorization before any real action.
