submit_diagnostics

Diagnostics & system · macOS · Windows

Effect: send (strongest supported action). Status: gated.

Gated means the tool requires an installed app, a connected account, permission, or runtime availability. Check those requirements on the listed platform before using it.

macOS

Purpose

Runs the same health check as run_diagnostics and sends the result to the LMCP team so they can look into a problem. What is sent: for each integration its status, the detail found and the fix hint, plus the LMCP version, the macOS version and the processor architecture. Without confirm=true it only PREVIEWS what would be sent: nothing is checked and nothing is sent (run_diagnostics shows the report itself, and only reads). With confirm=true the check runs and the report is sent; it cannot be recalled, so tell the user first.

Required inputs

No required inputs are declared in this platform's schema. Optional selectors and runtime requirements may still apply.

Permissions and confirmation

Explicit confirmation parameter: inspect the schema and tool description before any real call. The documentation example keeps confirm false. Obtain user authorization before performing the action.
