teams_read_transcript
Microsoft Teams · macOS
Effect: read (strongest supported action). Status: gated.
Gated means the tool requires an installed app, a connected account, permission, or runtime availability. Check those requirements on the listed platform before using it.
macOS
Purpose
Reads the transcript of a Microsoft Teams call started from a chat or of a calendar meeting (transcript_id from teams_list_transcripts) as lines «HH:MM · person: text», in this computer's time zone, oldest first. Read-only. A call needs the Microsoft 365 permission CallTranscripts.Read.All, and a meeting OnlineMeetingTranscript.Read.All and OnlineMeetings.Read; an administrator of the organization must approve the transcript one: without it the answer is consent_required and says what to ask the administrator. When the organization turned off transcript access or hides who spoke, the answer says so (speakers: false means the lines have no person). Returns at most limit lines (default 500, at most 2000); a longer transcript has truncated: true. Needs a work or school Microsoft 365 account connected with connect_m365_account.
Required inputs
transcript_id— Transcript ID from teams_list_transcripts (call:... or meeting:...)
Permissions and confirmation
No explicit confirmation parameter is exposed in this snapshot. This does not grant permission to act: obtain user authorization before any real action.
- Use only the apps, accounts and resources authorized by the user on this platform. Consult this tool's platform-specific description for its connection and permission requirements; this catalog does not assert additional OAuth scopes or OS entitlements.
