Find commitments, past decisions and details stored in your applications and accounts. This is access to your existing information—not a promise that every assistant gains permanent memory.

Use available tools to prepare replies, create events and manage tasks. Review sensitive actions and confirm them where the tool and client support it. Business rules, stock reservations and logistics still require their own systems and approvals.

LMCP supports macOS and Windows with platform-specific tools. Native apps such as Apple Mail and Calendar can expose their configured accounts through supported tools. A macOS integration is not automatically available on Windows.

Supported desktop tools execute on your computer. When you use a cloud assistant, requested content may be sent to that provider. A fully local path requires a compatible local AI client and a verified local configuration. Local execution alone does not guarantee confidentiality or compliance.
