thunderbird_disconnect
Thunderbird · macOS · Windows
Effect: write (strongest supported action). Status: gated.
Gated means the tool requires an installed app, a connected account, permission, or runtime availability. Check those requirements on the listed platform before using it.
macOS
Purpose
Stops Local MCP from sending from one Thunderbird account: removes the password Local MCP stored for it from the macOS keychain. Thunderbird itself, its own saved password and the account's mail are not touched, and reading stays as it is. `account` is an id or address from thunderbird_connect; with one connected account it can be omitted, with several it must be given. The first call returns a preview naming the account and changes nothing; confirm=true disconnects.
Required inputs
No required inputs are declared in this platform's schema. Optional selectors and runtime requirements may still apply.
Permissions and confirmation
Explicit confirmation parameter: inspect the schema and tool description before any real call. The documentation example keeps confirm false. Obtain user authorization before performing the action.
- Use only the apps, accounts and resources authorized by the user on this platform. Consult this tool's platform-specific description for its connection and permission requirements; this catalog does not assert additional OAuth scopes or OS entitlements.
