create_contact
Contacts · Windows
Effect: write (strongest supported action). Status: gated.
Gated means the tool requires an installed app, a connected account, permission, or runtime availability. Check those requirements on the listed platform before using it.
Windows
Purpose
Creates a contact in Microsoft Outlook's Contacts on Windows (its default Contacts folder): name, company, phones, emails and a photo from a local image. Needs a first name, a last name or a company. Returns the new contact_id. To add it to a group use add_contact_to_group. Notes are not written, as on the Mac.
Required inputs
No required inputs are declared in this platform's schema. Optional selectors and runtime requirements may still apply.
Permissions and confirmation
Explicit confirmation parameter: inspect the schema and tool description before any real call. The documentation example keeps confirm false. Obtain user authorization before performing the action.
- Use only the apps, accounts and resources authorized by the user on this platform. Consult this tool's platform-specific description for its connection and permission requirements; this catalog does not assert additional OAuth scopes or OS entitlements.
